Hi, this is Swapnil Mali. I am a freelancer, a multitasking octopus working on myriad of technologies. Currently I am exploring 3D world in Flash, enjoying Flex 3.0 development.

I live in Tasgaon, a taluka place in Sangli. Tasgaon is not highly developed city but certainly cooler being an unpolluted place and a great working spot. My house being away from any square of Tasgaon provides me a peaceful environment and helps me in innovation.

I have been national level player of U-19 Football team, reserving place of center forward. Also I have played Badminton championship at national level U-19. Unfortunately an accident gifted me a decent crack in my right leg depriving of all these games and I have to satisfy myself playing Snooker.

I finished my formal education in 2003. I wanted to convert my academic knowledge into a strong development foundation. So I invested my first year after education in doing some challenging projects for junior students. Then I joined Dnyandeep Infotech Pvt. Ltd. in Sangli. Dnyandeep is certainly great place to work. I would like to admit that Dnyandeep ( a lamp that enlightens the world ) proves its name more than 100% worthy. I met with some really qualified gems there and feel great to be part of such a wonderful team once a time ago.

Currently I am working as a freelancer. My technical domains involve but are not limited to Flash, Flex, Actionscript 2.0 / 3.0, Papervision3D, ASP, PHP, C#. In my leisure, I enjoy both cool and some hip-hop music from Bollywood and Hollywood.

I married Priya on 29th April 2007 and living a cheerful life with her. She is amazingly quiet and I like to thank her for her patience when I keep my head banging against my PC solving mysteries.

If you won’t find me online, assume me left for trekking and wandering in the valleys of Bhairavgarh.
